Greetings all -

This post is for anyone and everyone who is fed up with the owners of these casinos who have been and still are taking advantage of the jai alai system in Florida. Most, not all, have been putting out inferior quality play just to get their license so they can run their casinos and make lots of money. They are taking advantage of the rules and the laws and manipulating the system all the while making a mockery of the great game of jai alai. It is disrespectful and a disgrace to the game we love. Whether it is a 3 man roster scam or the glass court debacle, it is just plain disgusting. I am fed up with all of it and I'm sure many others are as well. So, what can you do about it?

Here's what you do...

Instead of us all griping on these jai alai sites - go directly to the source and voice your complaint(s).

Go to MYFLORIDALICENSE.com or the FLORIDA GAMING COMMISSION website itself - (they may be the same). Follow the prompts about submitting a complaint. MAKE THAT COMPLAINT! I am submitting mine after I post this message. It is CRUCIAL to get as many complaints as possible submitted. One or two may not make them act but 40, 50 or more and there is a very good chance the commission would have to act. Tell them you are disgusted with the current bastardization of the game of jai alai right now AND IT IS NOT RIGHT THAT THESE OWNERS ARE MANIPULATING THE SYSTEM! They should be held accountable to present performances that respect and maintain the integrity of the sport. They are required to have a certain amount of performances. They should also be required to have a minimal average handle and a minimal average attendance per day for their season. This would require the license holders to put a little more effort into the jai alai product they are putting out there. Maybe get more players or more capable players and/or a better court. The smaller court is fine but it should be done PROPERLY - not on a glass court that makes jai alai look like racquetball. This may require the license holders to do some advertising, maybe offer some free vouchers for people to gamble with to get the attendance and handle increased.

Please spread the word to others to take 15 minutes to file a complaint. I think it can definitely make a big difference.

Thank you

The only jai alai left in Florida is Dania. They care about jai alai. Benny comes up with new things all the time to make the experience better. Hats off to Benny and the upper management of dania for caring about the product. I heard Miami isn't even gonna export there signal anymore. What a shame.
I'm from Minnesota and am heading there there this weekend to go to Dania and watch and bet some jai alai. Been almost a year and can't wait to see it live over on tv in my living room.
